She is survived by: her husband Robert Tapia; her children, Mario Tapia (Ruby), Robert Tapia (Ruth), Richard Tapia (Irma) and Marisa Young (Rod); her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Young (Elizabeth Longo), Marcos Tapia and Hannah Young; and her sister Alma Garza. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
