He was predeceased by: his brother Donald; and his parents, Donald Lawrence and Juanita Mellenbruch (Lewis) of Brown County. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Eric (Corpus Christi); and his siblings, Delores Jeske, Wilma Kuck and Eldon. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory may be made to the First Baptist Church music ministry, the Corpus Christi Chamber Music Society, or the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
