Don Edward Keys Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 22, 2025, at the age of 90, Don Edward Keys of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Don departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Don may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Don leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Keys and Egbert Keys; and his brothers, Kenneth Keys, Gerald Keys and Robert Keys.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Lee Hardin Keys; his children, Kurt Keys (Joy) of Port Arthur and Karen Keys Harding (Tom) of Orangefield; and his stepdaughter Carla Wallace (Gary) of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to First Baptist Church Port Neches.
