He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ray and Mary Ray; and his sister Norma Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Ray; his children, Shana Ray of Corpus Christi and Kevin Ray of West Hollywood, California; his stepchildren, Andy Urbanovsky (Becky) of Corpus Christi and Andrea Nichols (Mike Nichols) of Corpus Christi; and his brother Jimmy Ray (Peggy) of Waterloo, Illinois. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
