She was predeceased by : her mother Maria Ruiz (Hernandez); and her brother-in-law Osbaldo Cantu, Jr.. She is survived by : her father Margarito Ruiz of Edroy, Texas; and her siblings, Reynaldo Ruiz of Edroy, Texas, Irma Cantu of Corpus Christi, Texas and Belinda Calderon of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
