She is survived by: her husband Gary Wayne Barnes of Corpus Christi, Texas; her children, Maryann Hailey (Larry) of Corsicana, Angela (David) of Mulpied, Georgia and John Paul Barnes (Anahi) of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Miriam Hailey, Maura Hailey, Aiden (Kaia) of Mulpied, Keghan of Mulpied, Vincent of Mulpied, Declan of Mulpied, Louie of Mulpied, Jayden Barnes, Bella Reign Conteras, Scarlett Barnes and Rhett Barnes; her great grandchild Jude of Mulpied; and her siblings, Richard Resch, Paul Resch, Robert Resch, Eilleen Princl, Judith Resch, Elizabeth Johnson, Valagene Koerner, Kathleen Bisard and Laurie LaSee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and fur babies.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Holmgreen Mortuary (2061 E Main St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John of the Cross Catholic Church (200 S Metz St, Orange Grove, TX 78372). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the St. John of the Cross Catholic Cemetery (200 S Metz St, Orange Grove, TX 78372).
