With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Thomas Story (Corpus Christi, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Story and Betty Cloud Story; his siblings, Nancy Reed and Rick Story; his grandson Steven Spade; and his close friend Allen Richards.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Story (Terence), Stephanie Spade (Larry), Shane Richards (Baylie) and Michael Irby; his grandchildren, Lillian, Everly, Reed, Kami (Casey) and Bennett; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Tera of Kenzie, SJ and Lily; his brother Eddie Story (Donna); and his sibling's children, Richard Story, Martin Story, Scott Reed (Darlene) and Kim Tague (Pablo Fierro).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a story in Robert's honor—preferably one that gets better with each retelling. And if you can do it with a twinkle in your eye and a Texas drawl, even better.
