She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicodemus Scheffler and Gertrude Scheffler (Dybowski); her husband Edward John; and her children, Janice Mims (Michael), James and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen, Ronald, Jeff, Dennis (Catja), Grace Karrer (Ken), Trisha Cline (Doug) and John; her brother James (Elayne); her daughter-in-law Mona (Ronald); her grandson-in-law Dewey; her niece Debi Scheffler; and her child Church. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (5830 Williams Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1214 Zorn Rd, Yorktown, TX 78164).
Her life was a beautiful testament to character, grace, and Christian charity.
