She was predeceased by: her parents, Pantaleon Granado (Tito) and Marcela Gonzales; and her siblings, Daniel Granado and Margie Moreno. She is survived by: her husband Edward Stanforth of El Paso; and her siblings, Amado Granado of Corpus Christi and Elida Granado of Freeport, Texas..
After a brief return to Peru, they were reassigned to Washington, D. C. during the COVID-19 pandemic for security reasons, where Thelma continued her work with the DEA.
