She is survived by: her husband Frank Hunter, Jr. of Corrigan; her children, Nikki Hunter-Nelson (Reginald) of Grambling, Tangela Hunter of Corrigan and Frank Hunter III (Gabriela) of Lufkin; her grandchildren, Richard Thomas, Tra Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Aniyah Love, Natalie Thomas, Reginald Nelson, Noah Nelson, Janelle Hunter, Jackie Perez, Jennifer Perez and Jacob Perez; her great grandchild Genesis Thomas; her siblings, Leon Walker (Emma) of Corrigan, Kurt Walker of Corrigan, Kent Jackson (Debbie) of Lufkin, Dennis Jackson of Lufkin, Richard Jackson (Sabrina) of Houston, Donald Jackson of Lufkin, Shawn Jackson of Beaumont, Joe Walker, Sr. (Patricia) of Corrigan, Shirley Johnson of Houston and Pamela Jefferson of Moscow; and her sister-in-law Ruth Guice. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (103 N Collins St, Corrigan, TX 75939). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
