He was predeceased by: his parents, David Singleton Reed, Sr. and Jo Alice Allison; his father-in-law James Cloyce Reinhardt; and his sister-in-law Susan Reinhardt. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Reinhardt Reed of Corrigan; his son James; his daughter-in-law Kellie Reed of Kingwood; his daughter Elizabeth Reed; his son-in-law Francisco Gonzalez of Houston; his grandson Jackson Reed of Kingwood; his brother Douglass Reed of Houston; his mother-in-law Bennie Reinhardt of Corrigan; and his siblings-in-law, Randall and Lisa Reinhardt of Kingsland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
