He was predeceased by: his parents, Survoy Bacon and Clista Lela Bacon; his brothers, Emmit, Ralph, Hollis, George, Noah, Lloyd and Kinch; and his son-in-law Tony Ferguson.

He is survived by: his brother Ashley "Shorty" Bacon; and his children, Randy Bacon (Linda Bacon), Ann Ferguson and Dennis Bacon (Connie Bacon). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
