With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlin Hughes of Corrigan, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred Hughes (Womack) and Marlin Cecil "M. C." Hughes. He is survived by : his wife Virginia Hughes; his sons, Ken Hughes and Matt Hughes (Nikki); his granddaughters, MaKenna, Micah, Taylor and Briley; and his mother-in-law Ruby Perry. He is also survived by his girlfriend and loved like his mother; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and lifelong friends.
