He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Gassiott of Tyler, Karen Adams of Onalaska and Melissa Pate of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Isabella Adams and Jacob Gassiott; his brother Joe Willie; his sister-in-law Barbara Gassiott of Waskom; and his sister Rebecca Bocanegra of Huntsville. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
