He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Clemotine (Watson) and Donnis Denman Knox; his wife Betty Knox; his son Billy Knox; his brother Jesse; and his sister-in-law Mary Knox.
He is survived by: his children, Paul (Sandy Knox) of Corrigan, Jay Knox of Corrigan, John (Kelly Knox) and Peggy; his son-in-law Joe Perkins of Corrigan; his niece Cindy Larson of Brown City, Michigan; Richard and Peggy Knox of Savannah, Georgia. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home - Corrigan (204 E Front St, Corrigan, TX 75939). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wakefield Baptist Church (3253 FM357, Corrigan, TX 75939).
