He was predeceased by : his parents, John Brady and Jewel Stevens; and his brothers, Bill, Ken and Ara Stevens.

He is survived by : his wife Jo Jackson Calkins; his grandchildren, Lindsey McCartney, Dylan Knutson, Logan Stevens, Sage Stevens and Jack Knutson; and his brothers, Doug and Earl Stevens.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hamilton - Beeman Cemetery (700 Farm to Market 2555 Corsicana, TX 75110).

Following his military service, he dedicated 31 years of his career to Hughes Tool Company, where he made significant contributions to the development of specialized drilling equipment for petroleum extraction.
