She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Ramirez and Jesucita Ramirez; and her siblings, Esperanza, Ernestina, Sylvia, Eunice, Ester, Santos, Arturo and Salvador.
She is survived by: her husband Carlos Gonzalez; her brother Valentine Ramirez; and her children, Carlos Gonzalez Jr. (Mary), Saul Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez (Sherry), Eliazar Gonzalez (Becky) and Roselma Ayala (Amador). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Fela's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or Jackson's Brush Puppies.
