She was predeceased by: her mother Grace Lenora Gibson Gunnels; her husband Elbert Corbitt; her grandson Kelly Corbitt; her father Thell Gunnels; and her siblings, Ernest Gunnels, James Gunnels, Arlon Gunnels and Violet Teal.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy D. Corbitt (Bobbi) of Stinnett, Danny K. Corbitt (Sallie) of Highland Village and Tommy G. Corbitt (Angie) of Crockett; her grandchildren, Jeni Janek of West, Brandon Corbitt of Sheridan, Andrew Corbitt of Lakeway, Katie Thompson of Colleyville, Hayley Corbitt of Dallas, J. T. Corbitt of Fulshear, Ashton Miller of North Lake and Kylie Hutto Nacogdoches; and her brothers, Jerry Gunnels of Gatesville and Billy Gunnels of Burneyville, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (210 S 8th St, Crockett, TX 75835). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
