He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Hall and Carl Hall of Louisiana; his wife Mae Belle Hooks; and his sisters, Betty Jane and Carol Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Carter Hall (Christy) of Georgetown, Linda Hall (Michael Lane) of Spokane, Washington and Chase; his grandchildren, Cannon, Callum of Nacogdoches, Colby Hall of Dallas, Sarah Lane of Little Rock and James Lane of Spokane, Washington.; and his cousin Patricia Craig (Wagley) of Gatesville, TX.. He is also survived by grandchildren/great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, James would have been delighted to know a tree was planted in his honor.
