It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerrie Murray of Crockett, Texas, born in Grapeland, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Otis and Mina Owens Brown; her husband V. E. "Bubba" Murray; her siblings, Lura Mae Brown, Quita Hayes, Madeline Brooker, Harley "Buster" Brown and Kennedy "Doc" Brown; and her son-in-law Kenny Damron.

She is survived by: her children, Ricky Nentwig Sr. and Debra Joy Damron; and her stepchildren, Vonn Murray (Jeanne), Joy Murray Parrish and Lynn Murray Finlay (Layne). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
