He is survived by: his sons, Steven Mitchell (Lori) of Latexo and James Mitchell of Crockett; his granddaughters, Kayla Mendez (Kiko) and Kendell Toms (Earl); and his great grandchildren, Isaac Mendez, Isaiah Mendez, Luka Mendez and Livia Mendez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
