He is survived by: his wife Thi Luu "Cookie" McClain; his children, Tony McClain, Michelle and Jason Jilek; his grandchildren, Trevor McClain, Maxine McClain, Ashton Jilek, Hayden Jilek and Sarah Hereford; his siblings, Jan, Susan, Mark, Phu and Kim; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Brandon, Keith, Forrest, Hunter, Jason, Anthony, Justin, Shawn, Linh, Bill, Johnny and Tabitha. He is also survived by numerous cousin and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Alcantar Acres (19075 Kinkaid Rd W, Montgomery, TX 77316).
