It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Castro of Crockett, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Teresa Bustos Castro; her husband Jose Refugio Murillo; her sons, Rigoberto Murillo Castro and Jose Refugio Murillo Castro; and her parent Refugio Murillo.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Isabel Rodriguz (Bernardo) of Crockett, Juan Murillo (Brenda) of Bryan, Salomon Murillo (Beatriz) of Nacogdoches, Mary Coss (Ricardo) of Lufkin, Ramon Murillo Castro (Teresa) of Crockett, Alicia Hernandez (Fernando) of Nacogdoches and Gloria Marmolejo (Arturo) of Mexico; her grandchildren, Felice, Rigoberto (Junior), Gloria, Felipe, Abigail, Ivett, Ivan, Irvin, Evelyn, Fernando, Anais, Yessica, Teresa, Samantha, Ramona, Kathy, Erik, Jennifer, Celia, Jacob, Jaqueline, Josue, Giovanni, Stephanie, Gabriela, Kevin, Leslie, Wendy, Cynthia and Alejandra; and her siblings, Agustina Castro, Adolfo Castro and Elizeo Castro.
