He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Weldon Bailey and Opal Irene Friday Bailey; his brothers, Hayne Bailey and Jimmy Bailey; his parents-in-law, John and Juanita Boyett; his sister Wanda Box (Brian); and his sister-in-law Nora Bailey.

He is survived by: his children, Trinity and Westville; his wife Brenda Boyette Bailey; his children, Stacy Lynn Dise (Jerry), Melanie Sue Cotyk (Jim) and Jeffrey Weldon Bailey; his grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Riley, Taylor, Jaime, Lexi, Jenifer (Joe) and Mandie (Blake); his great grandchildren, Deacon and Asher; his sisters, Mae McGann (Mike) and Sue Gumm (Ray); and his sister-in-law Joy Taylor (Joe). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crockett Elks Lodge or the American Legion.
