It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Armando Avila of Crosby, Texas, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Armando may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Arnulfo Avila; his brothers, David and Juan Avila; and his sister-in-law Manuela Lara. He is survived by: his mother Ninfa Cavazos Avila; his siblings, Alonzo Avila (Paula), Connie Mann, Fernando Avila (Yesenia), Daniel Avila (Hope) and Elsa Pompa (Joe); and his half-sister Carolina Avila. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews; along with many family members and friends.
