He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Vantine; and his brother Steve Vantine. He is survived by: his parent Glen Vantine; his wife Darlene; his daughter Tamara; his son-in-law Michael Perry; his daughter Terry Vantine; his grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Jacob, Lauren and Leah; and his great grandchildren, Lilah, Hallie, Saylor, Ezra, Blaine, Emmett, Winnie and Wylie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Texas Brigades, a wildlife-focused leadership development program educating and empowering adolescents with leadership skills and knowledge in wildlife, fisheries, and land stewardship for high school youth (ages 13-17).
