She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Dubose Peters and Ina Mae Smith Peters; her parents-in-law, Hugh Howard, Sr. and Eldene Nowak Howard; her siblings-in-law, Robert Earl Matkin, Wes Teutsch and Randa Howard; and her nephew Robert Donald Matkin.

She is survived by: her mother-in-law Bobbie Howard of Liberty, Texas; her husband Hugh Howard, Jr. of Crosby, Texas; her children, Chip Howard of Crosby, Texas and Heather Janek (Kevin) of Allen, Texas; her siblings, Jay Roach (Tina) of Burke, Texas, Sandra Matkin of Porter, Mary K. Teutsch of Diboll and Jo Smith (Roy) of Burke, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jake Janek (Olivia), Emily Janek, Grayson Coltharp, Gage Howard and Cole Janek. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
