He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomasa Ramirez (Melchor) and Juan Ramirez; and his siblings, Rita Mendoza, Roy Ramirez and Eddie Ramires.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Ramirez; his children, Ramona Youngblood, Kellie Cordes (Shawn), Leonard Felps, Linda Helmcamp (Jeff), Denise Furgason and John Ramirez Jr.; and his siblings, Joe Ramirez and Yoland Cuello. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
