He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Methvin Gates and Travis Ray Gates; his grandparents, Thelma and Eugene Methvin; and his sister Barbara LaDue (Johnny).
He is survived by: his wife Tana; his sons, Travis Ray and Caleb James; his granddaughters, Harley and Grace; his siblings' children, Heath Ressler (family: Chad Ressler), Kaitlyn Ressler and Kaci Ressler; and his siblings, Gail Taylor (Tom), Marvin Methvin (Dana) and Charles Methvin (Lara).
