She was predeceased by: her parents, Abb Putnam and Ida Lou Putnam; and her siblings, William "Bill" Byrd, Vera Hogan and Nancy Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Sam Walker Sr.; her daughter Sheri Chappell; her son-in-law Tim Chappell; her son Larry "Sammy" Walker Jr.; her sister Jeanette Pitts; her grandchildren, Josh, Akira Chappell, Colby, Melanie Chappell, Whitney Walker, Jonathan and Lauren Nichols; and her great grandchildren, Jaelyn Robinson, K'Lynn Long, Josiah Nichols, Justin Nichols, Journee Nichols, Jonathan Nichols Jr., Jiyah Nichols, McKenzie Chappell, Shelby Chappell, Kelsey Chappell, Brycen Chappell and Parker Chappell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skyvue Memorial Gardens (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063).
