He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Herman Josef Huckels; his wife Marjorie Huckels (Becker) of Crowley; his children, John Huckels (Gina) of Richmond, James Lowell Ponder III of Dawson, Felecia Etheridge (Jim) of Dripping Springs, Theresa Wood (Ponder) of Crowley and Carla Pender (Roy) of Midlothian; and his grandchildren, Courtney Huckels, Jordan Huckels, Adrienne Jernigan (Jacob), Jamison Perkins, Teri Eller (Watson) and Heather Walker (Timothy). He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
