He was predeceased by : his parents, Jerome Gawlik and Ruby Baker Gawlik; and his brothers, Walter Gawlik and Jerome Gawlik. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Lynn Kubala; his children, Cindy Torres, Wendy Gawlik, Arthur B. Gawlik Jr. and Walter J. Gawlik; his sisters, Florence Mayhew and Elaine Aldrige; and his grandchildren, Brittany Cooke, Torri Orosco, Lane Crosby, Logan Gawlik and Hailee Gawlik. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

The military honors was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410).
