John C. Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 7, 2026, at the age of 98, John C. Davis of Cuero, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Earle Davis and Merle Blackwell Davis; his former wife Emily Ferguson Calk; and his wife Bettye Pickens Davis. He is survived by: his children, Susan Davis Smith, Steven Davis (Mary), Charles Davis (Joanie) and Nancy Davis Langhoff (John); his friend Allie Wadley; and his caregivers, Pearl Johnson, Jerome Williams, Christina Johnson, Terri Jackson and LaShay Thomas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Hospice of South Texas, or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
