He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Goebel and Earlien Rabke Goebel; his wife Patsy Kay Krueger Goebel; and his siblings, Janice G. Harper and Richard "Dickie" Goebel.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Carl Krueger; his nephew Keith Goebel; his friends, Bob Davis, Mike Weaver and Robbe Davis; his children, Karen Schorre (Jeff), Kevin Goebel (Laura) and Keith Goebel; his brothers, Arlen Goebel (Sally) and James Goebel (Karen); his sister-in-law Rhonda Goebel; and his grandchildren, Kensey Janis (Steven), Kellea Clark (Douglas), Catrina Garner (Clayton) and Corbin Goebel (Mary Kate). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
