She was predeceased by: her parents, A. L. Lewis (Bub) and Maudell McMillan Lewis; her great-grandparent Glenda; her sister Judy Bailey; her in-laws, Willie and Bessie Whitaker; her sister Anita; and her brothers-in-law, George Harkrider and Harold Tally.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda; her granddaughter Glenda; her husband Jerry Whitaker; her sons, Jay Whitaker (Lisa) and Jed Whitaker (Glenice); her siblings, Diana Blakeny (Troy) and Joe Lewis (Neva); her grandchildren, Kirby Pool (Michael), Zack Whitaker (Danielle), Kelsey Calhoun (Cole) and Clay Whitaker (Leslie); and her great grandchildren, Eli, Ethan, Elyssa, Elly, Jax Pool, Deacon, Charli Rae, Parker Whitaker, Zoey, Presley, Colt Whitaker and Cassidy Calhoun. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jerry and Glenda Whitaker Tech Prep Scholarship at Angelina College or Cushing ISD Foundation.
