He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Bryant, Sherry Derbin (Clyde) and Homer Jeffery Yates (Rhonda); and his children, Shelley Rene Leopard, Joseph Keith Yates, II and J. R. Yates. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
