He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Akery Gilbert; his siblings, Russell Gilbert (Jane) and Edna Hansford; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Gilbert and Herman Rachal (Willie Mae); his children, Mark Gilbert (Pam), Kelley Hatler (Jay), Leslie Gilbert (Doug Robinson) and Michelle Hollingsworth (Curtis); and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Gilbert. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
