He was predeceased by: his father Leon Melvin Vierus; his father-in-law Cecil Curry (Joyce); and his brothers-in-law, John Nicholson and Michael Williams. He is survived by: his wife Janice Whitman-Vierus; his mother Mercedes "Sadie" Vierus (Luetge); his siblings, Jerry Vierus (Darlene) and Linda Lange (David); his sisters-in-law, Nancy Nicholson and Cathy Williams; his children, Allison Trevino (Raul), Emily Byers (Waylon) and Jacob Vierus (Pam); his stepchildren, Kayla Rose (James) and Aaron Whitman; his grandchildren, Gavin Rose, Brazos Byers, River Trevino and Elijah Vierus; the mother of his children Cathy Vierus; and his close friends, John Klein (Julie) and Adan Perez. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.
