He is survived by: his wife Renee Beth Thornton; his daughters, Cynthia Louise Lowther, Michelle Renee Jenney (Matthew Jenney) and Deborah Carol Hall (Shane Hall); his grandchildren, Jessica Beth Edmund (Frank Edmund), John Edward Patterson (Casey Patterson), Andrew Wesley Dodson (Bethany Dodson), Kasie Lauren Jenney (Patrick Fancher), Sarah Elizabeth Wright (Justin Wright), Amanda Mae Lowther and Emma Michelle Jenney; his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Lynn Ospina, Jacob Kevin Ospina, Harper Nicole Patterson, Ellie Kathryn Wright, Avery Elizabeth Wright, Kinsey Grace Edmund, Olivia Parker Fancher, Lily Kathryn Patterson and Levi Andrew Dodson; and his sibling's children, Melvin Perryman, Jr., Donald Lee Thornton, Sandra Perryman and Pamela Kay Thorstenberg.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westway Baptist Church (11207 Perry Rd, Houston, TX 77064). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
