She was predeceased by: her mother Vivian Christine Adams; her brothers, Alvin Gene Adams, Lloyd Allend Adams, Floyd Lee Adams, Sr., Walter Owen Adams and Paul Alfred Adams; her stepbrother Donald Wayne Wimberley; and her sister Violetta Mae Adams McKnight.

She is survived by: her husband James Young; her children, Lisa Young and Kenneth Young (Carrie Bertin Young); her grandchildren, Grant Wheeler, Korban Young (Sarah Beth), Kyler Young, Kane Young and Carrigan Young; her siblings, Homer Edward Adams, Carl Wayne Wimberley and Barbara Faye Wimberley Gordon; her stepsisters, Bonnie Wimberley Adams, Carolyn Wimberley Dill and Wanda Wimberley; Callie Jo Young. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
