It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lidia Ruiz of Cypress, Texas, born in Stafford, Texas, who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Ruiz; her parents, Elias Moreno Sr. and Rachel Moreno; her uncle Miguel Lerma; and her aunts, Tina Lerma and Lupe Ramirez.
She is survived by: her sons, Jace Ruiz and Jeff Ruiz; her grandson Isaiah Ruiz; and her siblings, Elias Moreno Jr., Luis Moreno, David Moreno, Rudy Moreno, Virginia Lockner, Josie Trevino and Rachel Friesema. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home (722 Grillo Way, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Fisher Catholic Church (410 Clay St, Richmond, TX 77469). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the San Gabriel Annex Cemetery (9201 Hwy 90 Alt, Beasley, TX 77417).
