She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie and Edna Commander; her husband James M. Chappell; her sons, James C. Chappell and Larry Chappell; and her grandson Clay Chappell.
She is survived by: her daughter Galynne Chappell Shimerka (Gerald); her grandchildren, Chase Chappell, Kyle Shimerka (Megan) and Karly Shimerka May (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Lori Chappell, Catherine Shimerka, Jackson Shirmerka and Jenna May. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
