He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Eugene Smith and Edith Lorine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Lynn Smith; his daughter Sharra Jan Gritz; his sons-in-law, David Wayne Gritz, William Kyle Stults and Denton Travis Baker; his siblings, Djuana Lynn Ward, Wayne Mark Smith and Eric Leland Smith; and his grandsons, Andrew Marshall Smith and Matthew Gibson Smith.
