He is survived by: his sister Alice Petry; his children, Belinda Gonzales (Roland), Michelle Bynum (Jeff), Sonia Alexander, Ted Gutierrez (Cherise) and Tom Gutierrez; his grandchildren, Blake Bynum (Kristin), Austin Bynum (Emily), Madison Pillitere (Casey), Julian Gonzales (Abby), Lauren Gonzales, Teddy Gutierrez and Isabella Gutierrez; and his great grandchildren, Faith Bynum and Matthew Pillitere. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Houston's First Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
