He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Caroline Hossack and Woodrow Bridges; and his sister Carolyne Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon; his son-in-law James Black Jr. of Kosse, Texas; and his son Wiley Thomas "Tom" Bridges Jr. of Cypress, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
