He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Grubbs; his son William Coy Grubbs (Jennifer); his grandson William Ryder Grubbs; his sister Nancy Mundy; and his sister-in-law Penny Grubbs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
