In loving memory of Mark Gibson of Daingerfield, Texas, born in Linden, Texas, who departed this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gibson and Mayon Gibson; and his son Jacob McGee. He is survived by: his wife Teri Gibson; his children, Kimberly Gibson "Ryan Petty", Catherine Brock "Maddox Shaw", Jeremy McGee (Valerie) and Jody Helsley (Stacy); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Richmond (Brayson), Sierra Schutter (Jarrod) and Dakota Helsley (Sierra); his sisters, Gina Campbell (Jay) and Murralyn Gibson; his niece Tia Garcia (Sam); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lorelei and Harlowe; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Horn Family Funeral Home Chapel (400 Webb St, Daingerfield, TX 75638). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 12176 US 259 N, Ore City, Texas 75683, an organization that Mark held dear.
