He was predeceased by: his father Calvin Cox. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cox; his children, Jason Cox (Chelsea) of Longview and Whitney Cox of Daingerfield; his grandchildren, Logan, Sydney, Colbie and Olivia Cox; and his brothers, Mike Cox of Daingerfield and Lynn Cox of Lone Star.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Daingerfield Church of Christ (818 West W M Watson Boulevard, Daingerfield, TX 75638). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
