She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Garrett and Robert Garrett; her husband James Long; her sister Billie; her brother-in-law Junior Forester; her sister Juanita; her brother-in-law Rusty Gearhart; her sister Maurine; and her brothers-in-law, Troy Gibbs and Cotton Clark.
She is survived by: her siblings, Peggy Clark and Robert Garrett Jr. (Eileen); and her children, Kenneth Long (Nancy), James Long (Terry) and Sherri Thigpen (Rick Wegmann). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and a large number of nieces and nephews.
