She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Islas and Angela Islas. She is survived by: her niece Erica; her husband Tomas Martinez; her daughter Lesley Islas (Tommy); her brothers, Joe Islas and Tony Islas (Carol); her siblings-in-law, Domingo Martinez (Mercedes), Joe Martinez (Janie), Jesse Martinez (Tia), Hermina Ebaben, Nancy Barron, Rosa Martinez, Mary Martinez, Janie Rogers (Danny), Lila Holmes (Charlie), Lupe Maciel, Elvira Zapata and Rosalee Young; and her pets, Chiquitita and Flaca. She is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, friends.
She was happy to raise money and awareness with the Sanchez Family for the American Cancer Society and enjoyed participating every year.
